OUR MISSION AND VISION

Our mission is to collaborate towards a more equitable world by redesigning systems in partnership with communities, organizations, and leaders driven to innovate inclusively.

We envision a more equitable world where the systems engineers are folks that represent multiple traditionally marginalised groups and the systems are accessible, trans-inclusive, and black and indigenous womn centered.

the work

Our team uses the equity centered design model as our principal design philosophy and prioritizes an intersectional equity ethic for all of our clients and projects. Our institutional commitment to centering communities closest to systemic marginalization and violence as the designers of systemic change empowers communities and enhances institutions.

STORY

Urban Fireworks is an international strategy firm specializing in (re)designing equitable systems.

Urban Fireworks was founded on the belief that traditionally excluded or undervalued voices should be at the epicenter of social change. We believe that focusing resources, energy, and equity directly omarginalized and intersectional identities is how systems-level change happens. Offering underrepresented folks, the freedom II influence bold systemic changes.

In 2019, UF shifted to strategic advising and mapping for organizations and leaders to create dynamic systems change for employees and consumers.  We are excited to partner with organizations that seek to enhance human-centered outcomes internally and externally.
